Exciting news… the Jump Rope for Heart materials finally arrived and we were able to distribute pledge forms last Thursday. Our “skip off” will take place on Friday, March 2nd. Students who wish to participate in the fundraising aspect of this event are asked to secure pledges from family members, relatives, and close friends. For safety reasons, we do not encourage students to go “door-to-door” to collect pledges. Last year, the Chalmers community raised and incredible $4,880.00 during our Jump Rope for Heart event. Our goal is to raise even more funds for this worthy cause! This year, we are once again dedicating our Jump Rope for Heart event to Grade 7 student Ryan Hughes, who in December 2015 suffered a medical emergency related to his heart condition.
